This weekend, some of the Sliva members made a trip from the north-eastern Slovenia to Tauplitz ski center. It was the first day this season when there was enough snow for proper freeride skiing in combination with a sunny weather without any cloud in the morning. Even though some of the tracks were ridden the day before, we managed to find enough powder for the whole day.
Also, on the groomed slopes, the conditions were as perfect as it gets – 2 days after snowing meant that the snow was groomed twice up to that day, so it was like a soft carpet, perfected for carving.
There was something for everyone. Check out the photos. 🙂

I’ve never been skiing… is not my thing, but the landscape looks amazing!
Thanks Midori! Maybe you should give it a try one day? 😉
I haven’t been skiing yet this season and am going through serious withdrawal! I’m planning on visiting Slovenia finally this summer or fall but may need to go back next winter for some skiing 🙂
Hi Diana, let us know when you are around 🙂 For the winter, we will try to create a small guide where to go as well.
This looks like the perfect placed for a winter vacation! Thanks for sharing
Indeed, especially if you are a powder freak, you will love it! 😉
